Potato Soup

Potato soup is great for those night that are cold. A perfect meal for the whole family to enjoy!

Potato SoupIngredients

  • 1 T thyme
  • 1 tsp salt
  • dash pepper
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 2 C milk
  • 2 T flour or Ultra gel
  • 1 1/2 C Water
  • 2 carrots chopped up
  • 1/2 onion chopped up
  • 3 celery stalks chopped up
  • 7 small potatoes about 3 C chopped in small pieces
  • 1 C Cheddar cheese in chunks or 1/2 lb Velveeta Cheese

Instructions

  1. Put in a pot the water, potatoes, onion, celery, carrots, thyme, salt, pepper, and parsley.
  2. Simmer for about 20 minutes until theĀ  vegetables are tender.
  3. Pour the milk and stir the flour or ultra gel and allow to thicken.
  4. Stir in the cheese and allow it to melt then serve!

Orange Smoothie

A delightful smoothie that is prefect for a hot afternoon. Drink this delicious smoothie to feel refresh!

Ingredients

  • 12 cubes ice
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/8 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup ice water
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (6 ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate

Instructions

  1. Start by placing all the ingredients on a food processor then blend fully until smooth and pour into glass.

Green Berry Smoothie

Here is another yummy treat for the whole family. Made of frozen fruits and vegetables with kefir.

Green Berry SmoothieIngredients

  • 2 T chia
  • 2-4 T flax
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3-4 C kefir or milk of your choice
  • 1 C frozen berries
  • 1 C frozen spinach
  • 1 to 1 1/2 frozen banana
  • 4 T coconut oil *optional
  • 1 T whey protein powder * optional

 

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, pour the kefir first then put the other ingredients.
  2. Blend until smooth and serve.
